The CFTF 2024-2025 Indoor Track Season got off to an impressive start at the 607 Invitational at SUNY Cortland on Saturday afternoon. The Indoor Devils had twelve individuals or Relay Teams place, eight of those in the Top Three, and four First Place champions.

Leading the way for the boys was senior Nate Raab who set the School Record in the 300 Meter Dash. His time of 37.16 is the Third fastest time in New York State Small Schools so far this season! Senior Lauren Paske and freshman Ceci Kasmarcik lead the way for the girls’ squad each winning their individual events. Lauren’s Shot Put throw of 34 feet 10.75 inches is the furthest so far this season in the Section, the furthest in the State for Small Schools, and the 11th furthest overall in the ENTIRE STATE of New York.

Freshman Clara Little capped her outstanding first season running Cross Country by breaking 22 minutes at a winding, very difficult Queensbury course, on a beautiful fall day. Clara was able to place 84th out of 130 runners, and we couldn’t be prouder!!

Initial Results from the 26th Annual Pumpkin Run…

The 26th Annual Pumpkin Run is scheduled for Friday, October 25th. All CF Students (K-6) may participate in this One Mile Fun Run around the school grounds. Every participant will receive a goody bag full of snacks (including apples donated by Apple Hills), while the fastest boy and girl per grade level will also receive a large painted pumpkin decorated by the High School Art Club!

Congratulations to Nate Raab and Lauren Paske on a culmination of their amazing seasons!!!

Kara Condon, CeCi Kasmarcik, Ethan Vaseleck, Connor Little, Max Harkness, and Zephen Tompkins made Second Team All Section, while Lauren Paske and Nate Raab both earned a trip to the STATE MEET next weekend!!!!

Nate Raab won the Long Jump and became our first individual male Class Champion since 2016 leading our boys to place fourth overall! Our girls were led by second place finishers Kara Condon and Lauren Paske in the 100 and Discus!

Kara Condon led the girls with a second-place finish in the 100 Meter Dash, while Lauren Paske finished third in both the Shot and the Discus.

For the boys, 7 athletes got on the awards stand, led by Nate Raab who leaped 21 feet, 4.75 inches in the Long Jump.

The Boys and Girls had another excellent performance at the last Invite before the STAC Meet. Connor Little and Nate Raab earned first place finishes in the Mile and Long Jump at the 17 team Parkhurst Invite @ UE, while Lauren Paske and Kara Condon earned second place finishes in the Discus and 100 Meter Dash!

Our Girls finished fourth and our boys finished third overall at the Legends of the Night Meet at Odessa. Lauren Paske led the girls as she swept the Throws, and Nate Raab led the boys, wining the Long Jump, and the High Jump, not to mention placing second in the 400 Meter Dash!

Our boys won their second consecutive STAC Central Divisional Title with their hard-earned victory in the rain at Waverly…

The girls finished off their Divisional Duals and ended the season 3-1 with their victory at Waverly on Tuesday night…
