Senior Night 2024
Walker Paske
Represented by Father Tim Paske, Mother Chris Paske and his sibling Lauren and Sam
Walker, also a member of our football and basketball teams, has been on Varsity track for three years competing in everything from the 400 Hurdles, the shot, disc, open 100 and the 4 by 1. His favorite was the 400H which he says taught him the meaning of hard work.
Walker plans on attending SUNY Brockport, majoring in psychology and playing football. He would like to thank his father for teaching him how to throw and helping him improve, Coach Gumble for her sage advice, Coach Motell for his positive attitude, and Coach Groover for always knowing where Coach Motell is…
His favorite memory of track was being able to have his father as coach and competing on the same team as his brother Sam and sister Lauren. His favorite memory happened last week against Owego, when Walker threw 111’9 in Disc to which Lauren loudly and in front of everyone proclaimed: “WOW! You can throw farther than me now!”
Gabe Dietzman
Represented by Brett and Lenet Dietzman and Danika and Julianna.
Gabe has been on the Track team for 5 years and has done everything from sprint and distance to throwing the shot and disc. Gabe plans of going to UB this Fall, majoring in Chemistry. She would like to thank Coach Paske for teaching her to be positive, Coach Groover for teaching her to do the hard things, Coach Gumble for teaching her to be a good teammate, and Coach Motell for putting up with her for 5 years and teaching her to adapt and use her voice.
Gabe would like to send a shout out to Jacob Frailey for pushing her to work hard, to come to practice, and for supporting her. Her favorite venue is home because there is no bus required and everyone knows Motell will run the fastest meet. And lastly Gabe would like to say that in all seriousness, Track was the highlight of her high school experience because of track people. She would like to remind underclassmen to take serious things seriously, but remember to that this is a sport and meant to be fun.
Caleb Halupke
Represented by Timothy Halupke
This is Caleb’s first year doing Track, he has also been on the Bowling and Cross Country Teams, as well as band and jazz band. Caleb would like to thank his father for being a role model of work ethic and responsibility and also thank his grandfather, who has passed but instilled Caleb with discipline and was just an overall wise and good person. Caleb also would like to thank Rory Brenan and Jonah Beston for being as kind and helpful as they were.
Caleb plans on to join the military and then become a carpenter after his service is complete.
Callahan Novitsky
Represented by Barb and Chris Novitsky and sister Georgia.
This is Cal’s first year of Varsity Track. His Pre-Meet Meal consists of nothing but hopes and dreams. After graduation Cal plans on attending SUNY Oneonta majoring in physics and minoring in astronomy. Cal would like to thank his martial arts instructor for encouraging him to run and sign up for Track and he would also like to give a shout out to Conway, Tommy, Kellen and Garrett for helping him make the decision to join.
Connor Little
Represented by Ryan and Jennifer Little
Connor is a four year veteran of Track and Field and also has done Cross Country, Basketball and Indoor Track for CF. He is primarily a distance runner and prefers the 1600. Connor would like to thank Coach Groover, Coach Brooks, and Coach Motell for pushing him to be the best runner he can be and his parents for always supporting him no matter what. He would like to give a shout out to Quinn Sirgany, Brenan Heaney, and Pipher Reid for their friendship, inspiration, and generally just helping to make track fun!
Connor would like to remind the underclassmen that yes, practice might suck sometimes, but don’t stop pushing yourself because it is worth it in the end. His favorite memory was almost losing the tent to the Wind at Sidney last year. And finally Connor plans to attend Houghton University and running Cross Country and Track and Field.
Keegan Watson
Represented by Garrett and Malia Watson and brother Braden.
This is Keegan’s first year of track and field, and he also has been a member of the soccer and basketball teams. His Pre-Meet meal is his mother’s Zucchini Bread. He plans on attending SUNY Brockport majoring in PE and playing soccer.
Keegan would like to thank all of his coaches, with specific thank yous to Coach Groover, Ford, Motell, and Gumble, along with his mother and father for supporting him along the way. He also wanted to give fellow seniors Conway and Connor advice: SLOW DOWN on your recovery runs…you run too fast.
Jamie Howell
Represented by Heather and John Howell
This is Jamie’s first year doing Track and Field. She would like to thank Jillian Howell for making her join the team. Her future plans are to attend SUNY Broome and her favorite memory of track was when Jillian almost hit Coach Paske with a disc!
Emylie Wilson
Represented by Brandie Ruby
Emylie has been on Varsity track for four years as a thrower. She would like to thank Coach Paske for all his help and encouragement and her sister who inspired her to join track in the first place. Her future plans include going to SUNY Broome for hospitality and continue taking art classes.
Dustin Jump
Represented by Denver Jump
This is Dustin’s second year of track and field after being a mainstay on our Varsity Football Team. His Pre-Meet meal is Moe’s with everything. He would like to thank Walker for being a dog and remind his teammates to run fast, to throw far, and to jump high. Lastly, he would like to remind everyone of the time Camron O’Brien ate dirt. Dustin plans on studying criminal justice at Brockport.
Kara Condon
Represented by Renee and Chris Condon
This is Kara’s third year of Varsity Track and she is also a member of the Indoor Track and Flag Football Teams. She runs the 200 ad the 100 but prefers the 100 because it is the shortest. Kara would like to thank her dad for his genetics and her mom for encouraging her to give track a try as a sophomore. Also, she would like to give a loud shout out to Alyssa Denton for being the best personal hype person around! Kara plans to attend SUNY Broome in the Fall and would like to tell the underclassmen to force their friends to do track with you!!
Ali Borelli
Represented by Patrick Borelli
This is Ali’s first year of Varsity Track, and has also played soccer and basketball for CF. She would like to thank Coach Paske and Coach Motell for being so welcoming and encouraging. Although this is her first year of throwing, her favorite event is the shot put because you can release all of your pent-up emotions!! Ali plans on attending Syracuse University to major in accounting.
Tommy Hillis
Represented by John and Kelly Hillis
This is Tom’s fifth year of track and although is a distance runner, his favorite race is the 400 because it is over the fastest. Tommy is also a member of the Cross Country and Swimming teams at Forks and plans on attending Clarkson to major in aerospace engineering. He would like to thank Coach Groover and Coach Motell for getting him on the track team and getting him to enjoy being a distance runner. He would also like to thank Connor and Conway for being great teammates and keeping each other motivated. Tommy’s favorite memory was the STAC Meet ending early in Vestal because the Stadium lights went out and when the tent flew away at Sidney. Lastly he would like to remind underclassmen to not be afraid to outside of your comfort zone because risk can lead to reward.
Dylan Walker
Represented by Brian Walker and Kim Stewart
This is Dylan’s first year of Varsity Track and his favorite event is the 400 Hurdles, the only event he has ever done. He plans on attending SUNY Broome to become a Medical Lab Tech. His favorite memory was being dragged around the halls by Rory and Tommy and would like to thank Coach Motell for being so talented.
Conway Mallory
Represented by David Mallory and his grandparent Harland Bigelaw
This is Conway’s third year on Varsity Track. He started off as a sprinter but his favorite race became the 2 mile because it is the furthest. Conway would like to thank his grandfather who has been his biggest inspiration…he has been running forever, doing marathons, and he inspires Conway to be better everyday. He’s also like to thank Quinn Sirgany and Liam wood for getting him to keep running and for being his best friends. His favorite memory of track was running the Forks XV with Liam for the first time and then carrying on the tradition with Zephan this year.
Conway would like to remind underclassmen to Trust the Process. He said, “We have great coaches who are willing to work very hard for us, so put in as much effort as you can…the training always pays off. Conway would also like to thank Coach Motell and Coach Groover for taking me from being a terrible sprinter sophomore year to getting me to the states meet in Cross Country this year. Conway plans on attending ESF for Wildlife Science. He also plans to keep running distance and eventually complete marathons.
