The Winter Classic Invite

This weekend saw another excellent showing for CF Track and Field.  On a mid-December day nice enough to hold the Meet outdoors, Ethan Austin set our School Record in the 55 Meter Dash and placed third overall, becoming the first Trackman in our Indoor history to break 7.00.  He is currently ranked tenth in the entire Section in the event!  Fellow sprinter, Riley Spalik (competing in her first meet of the year), had a strong showing in the 300 Meter Dash, placing fifth overall. 

On the distance side of things, Connor Little finished third in the 3200 Meter Run, while his younger sister Clara finished 10th in the 600 Meter Run in her first ever competitive Track race!

Next up for the team is a small Meet on December 27th at SUNY Cortland, followed by the Hurley Invite at Ithaca College, Friday night January 5 of the new year.
