There really wasn’t any running event that Renae Bartolone couldn’t do well.  Amazingly, when she graduated she held nine School Records, and was in the Top Three of our Program’s history for every running event on the Track, not to mention four relays, and the 400 Hurdles!  Almost four decades after she graduated, Renae is still on the School Record 800 Meter Relay Team, the School Record 1600 Meter Relay Team, and is still on our All Time Lists for the 200 Meter Sprinter, the 400 Meter Sprinter, the 800 Meter Runner, the 1500 Meter Runner, and the 3000 Meter Run!

Renae had a competitive streak that could not be matched and was one of the toughest and hardest working individuals in the history of Chenango Forks.  She was a four time Class Champion and qualified for the State Meet her senior season in the 1500 Meter Run.  She was also the second leading point scorer for our back-to-back-to-back Divisional Championship Teams and is still in the Top Fifteen for Career Points.

After high school, Renae attended college at the United States Air Force Academy.  She ran Cross Country and Outdoor Track for the Academy team and was named a three time Academic All American.  Upon graduation in 1995, she was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force where she trained to become a Special Agent in the Air Force Office f Special Investigations.  She served in the Air Force for 25 years, retiring in 2020 as a Colonel and the Commander of an entire AFOSI Region.
