2025 State Quals

State Quals
Wednesday and Thursday
June 4 and June 5
At Union Endicott

Jacob Clutz ran his PR in the Steeplechase and is now the 8th fastest All Time in school history.  Meanwhile, Clara Little ran her PR and made Second Team All Section in the same event.  Ethan Vaseleck also made Second Team All Section in the Triple Jump, as did our 4 by 800 Meter Relay Team of Grace Harkness, Alyx Clutz, Mari Pourby, and Ceci Kasmarcik.  Lastly, Sam Paske made Second Team All Section and broke his own School Record in the 400 Hurdles in 57.99.

Sam’s older sister Lauren Paske made First Team All Section in both the Shot Put and Discus and qualified for the State Meet next week in Middletown in both events.  She became the first thrower (boy or girl) in Chenango Forks Track’s 70 year history to qualify for the State Meet in both Throwing Events in the same season!  Not to mention the fact that she broke her own School Record in the Shot with a put of 37 feet 3 inches.

Our 4 by 400 Meter Relay Team of Nate Raab, Lincoln Raab, Sam Paske, and Max Harkness also made First Team All Section and qualified for the State Meet.  This is only the second 4 by 4 Team in Chenango Forks history to reach the State Meet.

And lastly, Nate Raab earned First Team All Section and qualified for the State Meet in the 200 Meter Dash, something no sprinter has done at Chenango Forks since Hall of Famer Ayo Stephenson in 1993.  Nate also won the Overall Sectional Championship in the Long Jump with a leap of 22’8.75 inches (a full foot further than LJ Watson’s previous School Record) and qualified for the State Meet!
