Class C Meet

Another absolutely amazing performance by our Varsity Track and Field Team at the Class C Championships Meet last night in Oneonta.  Our athletes made a total of TWENTY Award Stands, we crowned EIGHT Class Champions, had SEVEN others finish in the Top Three, and set three School Records in the process!

The highlights:

-Jacob Clutz winning the Steeplechase, with Clara Little finishing second in the event and coming back and finishing second in the 3200 Meter Run on the girls' side.

-Ceci Kasmarcik winning the 800 Meter Run, with Zephan Tompkins winning the same race on the Boys side (and running the fourth fastest time in our History)! 

-Ethan Autin, Lincoln Raab, Max Harkness, and Nate Raab winning the 4 by 100 Meter Relay. 

-Max Harkness, Sam Paske, Zephan Tompkins, and Nate Raab winning the 1600 Meter Relay.  

-Lauren Paske finishing second in the Discus and winning the Shot Put, besting her own School Record by over a foot in the event. 

-Nate Rabb winning the 200 Meter Dash and the Long Jump and breaking his own School Records in each of those events.   

Sam Paske (400M Hurdles), Lincoln Raab (100M Dash), Mari Pourby (800M Run), and Michael Moppert (Shot Put) also placed in the Top Three and earned the right to compete in the State Qualifier in those events. 

Meanwhile Alyx Clutz finished 6th in the 800 Meter Run, Alyx came back on our 4 by 400 Meter Relay Team with Ceci, Mari, and Kaden Schultze to finish 5th. Aiden Argento placed 6th in the Steeplechase, Ethan Vaseleck 5th in the Triple Jump, and Sam Paske finished 5th in the Discus.
