Chenango Forks Track & Field End of Season Information for Families
Dear Forks XC/TF families,
As we head into these final weeks, we wanted to put all the information together in one spot. Our athletes have had tremendous seasons and as coaches we could not be more proud. Please read through some end of season information.
Class Championship: This Thursday, May 28 at 4:00 PM Our Class Championship is this Thursday at Newark Valley, and we'd love to see as many Forks supporters in the stands as possible. This meet marks the end of the season for the majority of our athletes, and they've earned every bit of support we can give them. State Qualifier Meet: Wednesday, June 3 and Thursday, June 4 at U-E High School Athletes who advance from the Class Championship will compete at the State Qualifier meet next Wednesday and Thursday at Union Endicott High School. We will share specific event times as soon as the entries are confirmed. This should be final by this Saturday.

Forks Track & Field Youth Clinic: Sunday, June 7, in the Stadium This is our only youth track event of the year and we need as much help as possible to make this a big and enjoyable event. We'll be welcoming young athletes from Pre K through 6th grade into the stadium to run, jump, and fall in love with this sport, the next generation of Blue Devils.
A note for our varsity families: we need all varsity athletes present from 2:15 to 4:30 PM to lead stations and work with the kids. This is the only youth event we run all year, and it will not work without our athletes. Their energy and encouragement are what will make these kids want to come back. Please make every effort to be there. We will have a sign up sheet for varsity athletes and we will provide shirts.
End of Season Ice Cream Banquet: Monday, June 1 at 5:00 PM, Cafeteria We'll close out the year together with an ice cream banquet in the cafeteria on June 1st at 5:00 PM. Come celebrate the season, recognize our athletes, and enjoy a sweet finish to a great year. All families are welcome. Here is a sign up for ice cream related items for the banquet.
