STAC Championship Recap

Chenango Forks Track and Field competed at the STAC Championship this weekend. This is always a great tune up meet for the Class Championship the following week.

Girls 4x800 Earns 4th Place

The girls 4x800 relay team of Alyx, Grace Harkness, Ceci, and Katherine finished 4th at the meet. The team competed well and came away with another podium finish at one of the most competitive championship meets of the season. This marks the 10th different girl to run on our 4×8 team this year demonstrating the remarkable depth the girls have!

Ceci Anchors the Day with a 4th Place 800m

Ceci doubled back from the 4x800 relay to compete in the open 800m, finishing 4th in a time of 2:29.78. The performance was a season best for Ceci and a strong sign of her fitness heading into the championship phase of the season!

Sam Paske Makes Season Debut in 400H

Sam made his season debut in the 400m hurdles and finished 3rd in 58.93. He also added a 6th place finish in the discus on the same day.

Brysen Posts a Strong 100m

Brysen Fry finished 3rd in the 100m running 11.28, his fastest 100m of the season. He continues to develop into one of the program's most dangerous sprinters and the kind of athlete who is dangerous in multiple events.

Boys 4x400 Finishes 4th

The boys 4x400 team of Tyler, Brysen, Max, and Sam finished 4th at the meet.

Jillian Adds Another Podium Finish

Jillian Howell continued her strong throwing season with a 5th place finish in the shot put at 29-9.
