McQuaid Recap and Bainbridge Preview

This past weekend our forks runners went to Rochester for the McQuaid Invitational! This meet featured some of the best runners in the country with teams coming all the way from California.  Both teams ran great and are on a great trajectory into the third quarter of the season! 

Announcement:  October 11th is the Runnin’ With the Devils 5k event we are hosting in the morning.  We would love to have more participants! Please spread the word.  Register by October 2nd to ensure your shirt is here by race day.  All participants will receive a shirt but participants registering after October 2nd might have their shirt arrive after race day.

Saturday October 4th 

Course: General Clinton Park @ 2518 NY-7, Bainbridge, NY 13733. The Varsity course is a flat and fast 2 loop, 5000m run. The modified course is approximately 2.5K. The course is mostly grass with a section of dirt road.  Athletes can wear spikes or trainers.

8:45- Bus

10:30- Mod Girls

10:55- Mod Boys

11:20- Varsity Girls

12:15- Varsity Boys

Wednesday October 8th 

Course: 5K at the SUNY Delhi Golf Course.  Varsity 5k, Modified 2.5K 

End of 8th period- Get out of class

1:45 Bus

4:15 Boys Modified Start 

4:20 Girls Modified Start 

4:35 Boys Varsity Start 

4:36 Girls Varsity Start
