Girls Win 3rd Straight Invite: STAC Championship Preview

A day full of hardware for CFXC at the Marathon Invitational! The boys had a strong performance led by Joe Rullo finishing 28th running 19:40 on a very difficult course. Garrett Vail, Jameson Rattigan and Maddox Hubbard rounded out the boys team who performed well on the very difficult marathon course.

The girls had a HUGE day winning the small school division of the seeded race! Arianna Hepler and Clara Little led the way finishing 10th and 11th. Ceci Kasmarcik and Lena Lindow recorded great runs finishing 3rd and 4th for the team. The pack of Grace Harkness, Becca Yahner, and Mari Pourby finished within 7 seconds of each other. All 7 girls finished in the top 35. This marks the 3rd straight invitational win for the girls! The girls also finished 4th overall in the merged results. Full results can be found here

This week begins our post season. Saturday we will head to Anne McGuiness Elementary School for the STAC championship. This is a very challenging course that will be a great test for our runners before sectionals. More info about the meet including course map can be found here.

Senior night will be at Owego on Tuesday October 28th. We should have more info about this meet in the next 48 hours. Our banquet will be at the school at 11:30 on Saturday November 1st following a 10AM practice. More info will come in the next week.
